Lovely, Isn't it?

Makes me rather wistful that I had to hang up my toe shoes.. Knees really are a poorly designed part. And yes Lorraine, the half naked Sting is indeed part of the appeal, I grant you.

Ferri just retired last month - still at her peak but stating that it was time to go. She's an incredible loss to the dance world - there are some incredible videos of her and my boy Bolle - they were a dynamic duo.

And oh yeah Sting half naked is pretty damned inspiring to. Talk about your peak.

Actually her final performance was with Bolle, Romeo & Juliet as I recall. They were amazing together indeed.. But at 44, time to go out on top- the few times I was able to see her as a principal with the ABT were quite magical.

Oh! This is amazing! About a year ago, I recorded this very song from my public radio station back in Utah, but I had no idea who it was! So in my MP3 player it just says, "Bach Cello Suite 1 on Guitar - Unknown Artist". Well, now I know and a full circle moment is achieved. Lovely does not begin to describe how wonderful this is!!!

Saw her dance when she was at the beginning of her carrer in Swan Lake with Scala on tour. This was the production that Franco Zefferelli did where he wanted two dancers for the Odette/Odile. Carla Fracci was the other dancer and at the end of her carrer. Sadly Fracci has not realized that it is time to hang up her shoes. She appears here in Rome - where she is director of the Ballet - and tries to steal everything she shows up in. And when she's not dancing she shows up for the curtain calls anyway. It is extremely sad.

Hat- Always happy to be of service ;)

Wills- Ah, Carla is possessed of rather the large ego and never grasped the concept of how to bow out gracefully.

This was beautiful. The dancing was inspiring, but oh.my.god. Those opening shots of them stretching??? Damn. That is what Yoga can do to a body!!! The flexibility blew me away. I must sign up.

Tate- right honey, the flexibility was the only thing that merited your attention.. Sure sweetie, I believe you.

Fascinating video, beautiful, and inspiring. Sting in his 50's is more gorgeous than most men in their 20's. Ah, forget the dang shoes, sign me up for yoga!

Sting doesn't do it for me, completely not my type. I do admire his physique and amazing flexibility, however.

Sting oozes sex. Everyone in America should be allowed to let their hands roam all over that perfect form; it ought to be a civil right.

And ... there was a female dancer in that clip?

(I keed, I keed ...)

It was wonderful. Oh, dancing.... oh yeah that was nice too!

Seriously, beautiful dancing and Sting ain't too shabby.

Girl needs to eat a hamburger. (And me a non-flesh-eater, too.)

The guitar - I'd never heard the cello suites on guitar! My daughter's friend used to bring his cello to the house, he loved the cello suites. Anyway, I wouldn't have imagined it would be so nice on guitar, but it was lovely.

Makes me want to pop in one of my favorite movies of all-time, The Red Shoes, and watch Moira Shearer be an angel.

MP- Isn't he though? And yes, I've reconsidered the exercise program ;)

KA- Totally swoon worthy, isn't it?

Sling- that's a whole bunch of pretty.

Tate- we all have our weak spots dear.

Red- Hell yeah! I'll start a grass roots coalition if you'll help me out. And yes precious, there was.

Eg- That's what Miss Dora calls a two-fer..

CB- well it does tend to be one of those things about dance. Balancing on one's toes tends to be a very hard thing.

Lorraine- I rather thought you'd appreciate that.Dan- I love that one too!!!

Lovely, just lovely! Thank you.
